Our Halloween Dinner!

The "NO FUN" Halloween....

Yep.... that's Kam with ANOTHER IV! She's sick again... but not as bad. {Thank Goodness} She started vomiting around 2 am, and I just figured it was a virus. She kept at it until I had to go to work at 8. (Thanks to Grandma for changing her shopping plans to stay home and Babysit!)

I called my mom from work around 11 and she was still vomiting about every 20 - 30 minutes. So I talked with the Dr about it.... he figured we better take a look at her, given her recent history, so Grandma brought her in for me.

No Strep or anything obvious, so we checked her urine, and sure enough, she had another infection. So he sent us over to the hospital for IV fluids and bloodwork to see how aggressive we needed to be.

Her white count was a little high, but still within normal limits, so we opted to go home to Trunk-or-Treat and do Oral meds for now and we will re-check her next week!

So her vomiting was most likely related to a virus, and it just helped us catch her infection early! Thank heavens for small miracles!!!

They decided to dress up at work this year.... a little late.... and sent me a text the day before. This is what everyone came up with....

We had fun and laughed about it all morning.... I didn't get a picture of Dr. Walker "The Vampire".... it was a great costume and I will have to get a picture to share later! (along with a picture of me as the Hippie.... if anyone has one, let me know!)

The Larsen's are my Dad's sister Karen and her family.

Love them all so freakin much,

and we don't get to see them enough so I just love this night and really look forward to it. We really missed those who couldn't be there...... (Austin & Nicole..... Jeremey & Chelsea..... Joe....... Aaron & Amy..... Kristian) It was a lot of fun, but it's getting harder and harder to keep all the kids straight..... there's getting to be so many of them! :D

HSM 3

Kristian was so excited for the new High School Musical 3 to finally open in the theaters..... and with no school on opening day.... we made a girls night out of it and went to the midnight showing on Thursday Night / Friday Morning.

We had a lot of fun even despite the rowdy teenagers behind us.... and the movie was AWESOME too! (Now it's 8:45 am and I am the mom with things to do, kids to take care of and off to school and where is Kristian????? IN BED! 2:30 am bedtime is a little late for her!) :D

We had a ton of fun camping this last weekend with some friends. The kids had alot of fun with an extra 2 days off from school with....

..... among other things. Thanks to some great friends for the fun times and getting in one last trip of the year! We missed those of you who couldn't come or had other plans! but we had fun without you! :D

ALL BOY

This little boy is so much fun. I love him to pieces! Just all boy..... which is such a foreign concept for me..... but I like it.

So much easier.

Just give him a toy gun, a dump truck and shovel, and the great outdoors and he will be happy for hours.

I am sooooo lookin forward to the great man he will become..... just not too quickly because I am enjoying him too much. Love you little man!

My Twilight Obscession Continues....

The Aussie's

My Grandmother was born and raised in Australia. She met my Grandpa while he was there on his mission, after he returned home they continued writing letters and eventually Grandma came to America on the boat, and Grandpa picked her up in Los Angeles. The rest is history.......

So with this marriage came the fact that my mother had uncles, aunts, grandparents, cousins etc...... that were still in Australia that she didn't get to see very often. Mom has been to Australia twice, and Aunts, Uncles and Cousins have been here several times.

Recently her Cousin Karen and her husband Trevor and thier daughter's In Laws came to visit. It was so good to see Karen and Trevor again and meet their wonderfully gracious and personable extended family.

Mom & Dad took them to a few places around our neck of the woods.... like the Logan LDS Temple, up the beautiful canyon in the fall, and to Bear Lake.

On the Sunday before they were to leave (off to more American adventures) we had dinner all together at Mom & Dad's with all of my siblings and thier kids. We had so much fun and intoduced them to some "American" food we didn't know was "American" (like Rhodes Bread Dough & Cool Whip). But most of all I really loved the fact that my kids loved having them there and asked several questions because they were so curious about where they come from and "how they talk."

We enjoyed being reminded of their definitions of words like:

The day of the very first snow fall. My kids instantly went to their cubbies to pull out the hats and gloves! Do you like Gage's? Yes, he has his own "boy" snow stuff, but apparently he wanted to wear his sisters.

Tremonton FINALLY getting lines painted! I was beginning to expect people to start driving like Eruopeans because they can't tell where or which lane to drive in! (look at the lane I am driving in.... you can't tell it's a 2 lane road on my side can you? The white dotted lines were barely visible!)

My handsome. Lately I prefer the "Car Nap" because if he takes one at home in his bed he sleeps for 3 hours and then doesn't want to go to bed at night til 10 or 11. This way he's not grumpy later but still ready for bed at 8.

The beauty of the great place I live. Most of the time they are annoying, eating my trees, pooping on my lawn and sidewalk, and you are worried they are going to run out in front of you on the road. But every now and then we stop and enjoy just watching.... and appreciating we can live in such a great place!

The Park In October

We decided it looked like such a nice day out yesterday so we took the kids to the park after preschool.

but the little breeze that was blowing was pretty cold, so we didn't last long. It was fun while it lasted and kids were ready for naps by the time we got home! That is always a plus and worth being a little cold for any MOM!
