Once again Jed amazed us. The kids had a blast... sat on the edge of their seats... and could't wait for an autograph from the amazing Joseph himself. Keep it up Jed... you're the only Cultural Arts the Bodily's have! :D

We decided to forgo the crowds and endless wait for dinner this year and try something new.
I think it should become a tradition... it was heavenly.
We went to the Soloman Center in Ogden at The Megaplex.
They have a dinner and movie night, all in one location, no lines or waiting, everything for one price, prepaid, so all you do is show up.
We had a catered dinner, massages, chocolates, roses, popcorn, and drinks that were all included.
Not to mention the fabulous friends we were able to go with!
Great night...
Thanks to my sweetheart for a FANTASTIC date!

The "FFF"....
The "Caravan"
We did a little 4 wheeling, which consisted of a little "visiting" (not trespassing :) of some fellow "Bothwellians". When you are a neighbor and friend... the "NO TRESPASSING" sign does not apply to you... right?
There were some who came close to having "wardrobe malfunctions"; ... some who just so happened to dress alike; ...one who did not want her hair done "because she was camping"; ...and a couple who were inseparable.
We did a little fishing, and observing of Nature and the beauty around us....

St. George May 09
We were able to get away for a few days at the invitation of some great friends to St. George for some relaxation, sunshine, and fun!
It was great to have some time away from all the hectic things of life, and to just spend some quality time as a family, doing those things that we all love, and to not have a schedule! It just wasn't long enough... and we were not ready to come home!
Thanks to the Summers' family for the invite..... we had so much fun!

Natalie's Conner....
..... I worked with a girl named Natalie Langford at Mountain View Eye Center. Not sure how long we worked together, but she was a driving force of happiness and smiles. She was fun, and I enjoyed her. We have not kept in touch much, but I hear about her and how things are going for her up in Idaho through a mutual friend Nicole. During her years at MVEC she was able to finally receive the blessing of Motherhood through adoption. I was really happy for her, and have heard about her amazing little Conner through Nicole. Natalie has made a blog about Conner, it is at http://seizurefighters.blogspot.com/, and would recommend visiting this when you have a few minutes, it is life altering.... makes me grateful for the trials I have, and realize that we can accomplish much more than we think if we have the Lord on our side. Listen to the song she has on the blog... the words are amazing and bring tears to my eyes. (surprise, surprise)

This Post is for the Zollingers.....
....Dad helped with branding last Saturday. These are some of the pictures he took and then made into a video. I thought it would be fun to share with everyone. (You will need to pause my music player at the bottom of the blog so that you can hear the music with this video)
It does make you wonder though, how much help he really was if he was taking so many pictures, doesn't it? :0)
He is getting pretty good at this photo and blogging stuff. Check out his blog he has created for his company @ cwtconstruction.blogspot.com

One Year Ago Today....
... you left this earthly existence for a much higher, grander place, free of pain and fear. I often wonder who it is harder on, you... missing out on your kids achievements and leaving your responsibilities to others, or your loved ones left behind, missing you and your amazing personality and wonderful advice. But in the end it doesn't really matter.... it is hard for all. I can't believe we all made it a whole year without your smile, insight, laugh, and friendship.
You are in our prayers and thoughts this day and always.

Parade of homes...cont...
I don't have a picture of my very most favorite house, but this one is my second. Just down the street from my fav. The two houses were similar, about the same square footage and price. I begged, but Cory just wouldn't buy it for me. I mean when you come across a bargain, you should really take advantage!! It was only a mere 2.9 million!! At one point we were next door to one of Robin William's homes, and we hear that Tim McGraw and Faith Hill recently purchased a home in St. George. Celine Deon also has one presently under construction. Who knew St. George could become the next Hollywood??? :)

St. George.....
... the city known for it's great weather and sunshine....except when we are there! We had the opportunity to go down to the St. George parade of homes with my mom and dad. They go every year, but this year we decided to check it out and see what all the hype is all about. WAY COOL HOMES!! We really liked it had had a really great time, despite the cooler temps for them this time of year. Some friends (Layne & Tiff.. for those who know who they are) also ended up down there along with some of their friends from American Fork, so we all just had a blast eating out, seeing homes, going to movies, shopping, etc...

Blessed Friends.....
I have been struggling lately with a problem of one of my friends and have been giving it alot of thought. It always seems to help to write it down and get it out so this is my attempt to do so. She had a friend who she "offended" without knowing and would have never done so intentionally. I am sure we have all been in this position before, I know I have. I seem to usually speak before I think it through, and end up saying something I shouldn't or say it in a way that can be taken wrong. Today, I have been thinking of a talk from General Conference that we had a lesson on in RS this past year. It was titled "And Nothing Shall Offend Them" by David A. Bednar Nov. 2006. There is a particular paragraph I would like to share..... "when we believe or say we have been offended, we usually mean we feel insulted, mistreated, snubbed, or disrespected. And certainly clumsy, embarrassing, unprincipled, and mean-spirited things do occur in our interactions with other people that would allow us to take offense. However, it ultimately is impossible for another person to offend you or to offend me. Indeed, believing that another person offended us is fundamentally false. To be offended is a choice we make; it is not a condition inflicted or imposed upon us by someone or something else." I for one am usually not easily "offended". In other words it takes alot to hurt my feelings. With that being said, I believe that can not be a good combination for others who usually do get their feelings hurt more easily. Let me tell you why I think so.... I would probably do or say some things that I for one don't think is bad or hurtful, but for someone else, it might be. We all have our agency, it is something our Father in Heaven has blessed us with. It is our choice on how we respond or act to any given situation. When we believe that someone else has that power over us, does that not diminish our moral agency? If we are blessed enough to have friends, and we openly call them such, why would we believe they would intentionally do something to hurt us? Why would anything in a typical conversation, or something that happens in everyday life make us jump to the conclusion that they intentionally wanted us to feel bad? One of my all time favorite quotes is by Eleanor Roosevelt... "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." Does that not also go along with this subject? I think so. I think that when we are more easily offended, or tend to get our feelings hurt more easily, it stems from the problem that alot of us women have, and that is our feeling inferior to those around us; essentially our friends. There are a few members of my ward/community who feel like they are not included or feel left out of certain activities/parties/events etc... I for one enjoy the friends I have made here, and have enjoyed ALL of their company. Sure, there might be some to whom we have better relationships, and tend to do more with, but we are never exclusive! If you ever hear of anything we are doing, or participating in and would like to also.... Call me! I can't make 50 phone calls of personal invites every time we decide to do something, so call! We are always wanting to get to know others better. And if you are one of those who are feeling left out or not included in things.... I am sure you are not alone! Invite some couples over, go out to dinner, do whatever it takes to get the ball rolling. I know there are those who worry that if they do, they will hurt or offend someone else they did not include, but you are only depriving yourself and alienating yourself from those friendships! My whole reason for this post is to tell my friends I LOVE YOU! Thanks for being my friends in spite of myself! Thanks for loving me despite my faults. And if I have ever said or done anything to hurt or "offend" you, I am so sorry. For if you are my friend I would never want to hurt you. (Even someone who hasn't been a friend, I wouldn't want to hurt...... unless you call my house at midnight to tell Cory your boiler is working now, but you still don't want your house to get cold during the night, so can he stop by in the morning. Then I might have to hurt you. (true story)) I have been so blessed with great friends! My patriarchal blessing tells me I would be blessed with friends who would "bless and uplift you". That is so true! Thanks for the blessing you are in my life, and the way you uplift me!
