Happy Birthday Kambree!

WOW!! She's 4! I can hardly believe it! She was the only baby we actually tried for, and had a hard time getting! My pregnancy was not so great, and she was the only one I was sick with.... by about 4 in the afternoon I was throwing up and in bed for the night, usually asleep by 8 or 8:30. At least by about this time Cory was home and could help with dinner and homework. Labor and delivery was pretty easy. Probably my easiest. I showed up at the Bear River Hospital at 8:30 am to be induced about 1 week before my actual due date. They got the paperwork handled and started my IV and the pitosin. Kambree V. Bodily arrived at 12:28 pm..... Just 4 hours after we arrived at the hospital. (The V stands for Cory's grandma Virgina who died while I was pregnant with Kambree.) We had really wanted a boy at this point, but I had a feeling she was going to be a girl. (My brothers were excited because they wanted to have the first boy in the family) TEE HEE HEE!! I still beat em' to it by 2 months!! :) But the fact that we were having a girl really grew on us, girls were really all we knew how to do anyway, so we were excited and so were her sisters. She has been a delight ever since. Our smallest baby, weighing in at 7lbs and 4ozs, she has been the smallest in the family ever since. Just petite and tiny all the way around. Her little brother now out-weighs her by 1 pound and they wear the same size clothes. Some of my favorite things about Kambree..... * She is sweet and tender hearted, I like to call her my "little chicken." she does not like loud noises or the dark. And DO NOT tell her "good nite, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite!" (she doesn't like bed bugs! :)) * Those beautiful Blue eyes and the smile that goes along with them. * The way she calls herself our "little princess" * The way she takes care of and holds Gage's hand to pull him along with her like she is the "big sister" even though he is bigger than her in size and only 18mos younger * Even though I tell her not to.... i love to watch her scale the Kitchen Cabinets like a monkey. (How does she do that?!) * How she asks me to rock her "like Gage" (I feel guilty that Gage came so quickly after her.... it made her have to grow up quicker) * Her so sweet and naive honesty HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY GIRL! WE LOVE YOU!
