Our Thanksgiving was simply wonderful. I love it, and it's the perfect kick off for Christmas.... First we get to give thanks for all that we have been blessed with and then we get to SHOW him how thankful we are the whole month of December! We were lucky enough to have both sets of Grandparents at our house this year. When Kassie came home from school on Wednesday, I told her I needed her help getting the house ready. She jumped right in and did her weekly chores and cleaned her bathroom. And then I came out to find she had set the table! Not what I had planned, but that's okay..... we couldn't burst her bubble.... and she did a great job! Hope your holiday was just as great!

Another Reason

I have always thought myself to be a good speller. Not a PERFECT one, but I thought I was pretty good, and was kind of critical of others who I thought should know how to spell certain words.......

..... I STAND CORRECTED! Thanks to the cute little spell check button for our posts, I have found numerous mistakes..... and that is when I have remembered to check it! So I have found yet, Another Reason..... blogging is good for me!

HE PASSED!!

We finally got Cory's test results from his training class he took during September & October.

(Not to brag or anything, but there were guys there that had taken the class for 3 times now, and this was Cory's first go round!)

It's Official....... He's a Fireman 1!

(now he needs fireman 2 and his EMT)

Preschool Thanksgiving

Kambree had her Thanksgiving "feast" at preschool today.

She was so excited.

It was best dress, and she picked out her dress.

Kambree made this turkey in school last week, and brought it home to work on her manners and I was supposed to keep a close eye out and write down when she used her good manners and write them on a feather.... she then took it back today to share with the class.

Being "Silly Kambree" I wanted to post how long her hair is getting. She wants to cut it, because she thinks if she does she can get an American Girl doll like Kassie. (Kassie got the "Kit Kitredge" doll because they had the same hairstyle at the time) I have tried to explain that you don't have to have the same hairstyle as your doll, but she's just not getting it.

Anyway, Mom is protesting because I think it looks so pretty long, blonde, and beautiful!

Daddy's Helpers

I went to a little neighborhood "Holiday Exchange" today. (Which was really fun and we got lots of great ideas!) But, this is what I found when I got home......

They said they were "Helping" but it looks more like "Rides" if you ask me!?

Cory's Mess

I had to work today til 3:30. I had cleaned my kitchen really good the night before for a "little" gathering with friends (12 to be exact) that were coming for dinner tonight. This is what I walked in to at 3:40 pm with people arriving at 5:15! I have been waiting for more light in my Kitchen for 6 1/2 years..... and he chooses TODAY to do it!

Insulation all over my counters......

My new can lights!!!

I have sooooo much more light in my Kitchen and I love it! Thanks so much JED (AKA Mr. Electirc) for all the "help"! I love it!
