They had to make the "hole" bigger to stitch his tendon. You can see the tendon here, just above the instrument.

The tendon is all repaired so now they are stitching him up.

A Day To Party #1

Today was our first of 2 family Christmas Parties. We started out the day in Hooper with my Dad's side of the family for Breakfast. It was Delish. We had a good time catching up with everyone.

We usually play some kind of game with white elephant gifts. But this year we were supposed to donate quilts, blankets, and baby blankets to Primary Children's Medical Center. Below is the picture of all that was donated.

The kids also made these cute little reindeer out of tracing their foot and hands. They had so much fun. (well, except for Gage.... he was mad at mom for not letting him do everything himself).

It was a good time. We missed those that were'nt there. I really liked the breakfast idea.... we haven't done that before, although I don't like getting up so early..... the breakfast was sooooo yummy

The Day To Party #2

Apparently I was distracted at this party. I didn't get many photos. This was with my Mom's side of the family in North Logan for Lunch. It was good to catch up with everyone. A few I hadn't seen for about a year.

SANTA made an appearance and the kids were so excited. The top picture is of him leading the kids in some Christmas carols. The bottom one is Gage. He was being so silly and shy. (at least he wasn't crying and screaming like he did at the mall last week) Kassie had to drag him up there and then he was leaning as far away as he could get. Santa had to hold him up there.

Kambree sitting on Santa's lap. She changes her mind every day, so I guess it will be a suprise what Santa brings her.

I couldn't get my camera to focus fast enough when Kassie was sitting on Santa's lap, so I will have to get a picture from my Dad and post it later. We had a good time spending the day with family, and came home to relax with the kids and watch a Christmas movie. I LOVE those kind of days.

We have over 50 sisters we take goodies to on Monday night, so we need all the support we can get! Please plan on attending! Bring your favorite christmas cookie or treat to help us make goodie plates for the over 65 (in age) sisters in our ward and then take the plates home to deliver with your family for FHE!

I took this picture while we were camping up in Arbon Valley at some friends property. It was quite a bit farther away, so I cropped it, and edited it. I love it. He had no idea I was taking it...... those are the best kind! Blogger makes the color look a bit off.... it looks so much better printed.

Our Thanksgiving was simply wonderful. I love it, and it's the perfect kick off for Christmas.... First we get to give thanks for all that we have been blessed with and then we get to SHOW him how thankful we are the whole month of December! We were lucky enough to have both sets of Grandparents at our house this year. When Kassie came home from school on Wednesday, I told her I needed her help getting the house ready. She jumped right in and did her weekly chores and cleaned her bathroom. And then I came out to find she had set the table! Not what I had planned, but that's okay..... we couldn't burst her bubble.... and she did a great job! Hope your holiday was just as great!

Another Reason

I have always thought myself to be a good speller. Not a PERFECT one, but I thought I was pretty good, and was kind of critical of others who I thought should know how to spell certain words.......

..... I STAND CORRECTED! Thanks to the cute little spell check button for our posts, I have found numerous mistakes..... and that is when I have remembered to check it! So I have found yet, Another Reason..... blogging is good for me!
